Our goal at Tone Studio is to facilitate the creation of exceptional tangible products. Through the exploration of color and skilled Class A finishing, Tone can help designers realize their vision, product goals, and meet deadlines. 

Tone Studio’s greatest strengths are communication and consolidation of the design process, working with teams, and helping to pivot design direction to meet our clients’ needs. 

About the owner 

I am Bryan Adams, Founder of Tone Studio. I have over 10 years of experience in prototyping and have worked in both automotive design and consumer electronics. The drive to hone my craft has taken me from the concept car industry to, most recently, Microsoft, where I became their Lead Painter and Color Specialist—a role that allowed me to impact the color direction and finish in Microsoft’s product line and helped me discover my passion for color, material, and finishing.

Starting young in my career, a love for cars (my first car was a 1966 Ford Falcon) and a hunger for knowledge is where it all began. My first job at Gaffoglio Family Metalcrafters as a fabricator, and later a lead hard modeler, changed my world. It allowed me to hone the skills I had learned in the automotive restoration business (e.g. MIG/TIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, model making, manual machining, and painting) and exposed me to an unimaginable and very rewarding career path, and brings me here today.
